Superman Prayer

Sung to the tune of "Superman".

 

Thank you, God, for giving us food. 

(raise one arm with fist while singing; then bring it back down.)

Thank you, God, for giving us food. 

(raise other arm with fist while singing; then bring it back down.)

(Grab your imaginary cape and swing it while singing) 

For daily bread.

(Swing imaginary cape to the other side while singing)

 That we be fed.

(Dramatic superhero finale!)- 

Thank you, God 

(sung in deep, low voice while raising both arms up with fist),

For giving us food! 

(Ending up in the superman stance - feet spread wider than the shoulders and both hands on hips).
