Skating Classes at Funquest in Collierville

Hi Everyone!

I am an inline speed skating coach/skating teacher (and Mops Mom) that works at Funquest in Collierville. During November on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 p.m we have a FREE skating class for Beginner Recreational and Beginner Speed Skaters. It is for all ages 3 & up (and entire families-I have had Moms come out with their children and have several families that skate with me on a competitive level). Skaters just need to know a minimal skating stroke and have to be able to not hold someone or something when they skate. I teach the rest-form, cossovers, starts, stops, how to fall and more through games and fun drills. Skate rental is free. All skaters must have bike helmets. I also have a Sat. class (all level) from 10-11 am- $6 per skater with free session after. Rollerblades or quads are fine.

It is a great work-out for kids and adults and fun! It is also one of the few indoor winter sports here in Collierville (we skate year-round-our season ends in Sept. for only a few weeks and go back) and we appeal to both boys and girls. If you are looking for a different sporting experience-we offer that.

We will also have a new Tiny-Tot/parent class starting Nov. 23rd through this winter at Funquest in Collierville on Wednesdays. Ages 2-6 with parent- $6 per class per parent/child (two or more children is an extra $6 per child). Free skate rental. Bike helmet recommended. Class runs from 10:30-11:00 with open play/open skate from 11-noon. Your children do not need to know how to skate since a parent will be with him/her. Snack bar, climber/slide, games, and skate floor will be open for open play/time to socialize. Class will consist of games, music and movement for young skaters. Drop in anytime!

Feel free to pass this along to any interested parties and join us whenever you wish this month for free. For more info. visit-

Thank you!
