One Week Until Christmas!!

Only one week until Christmas. Can you believe it? I absolutely love the excitement in the air and the anticipation of Christmas Day. With the busyness this season brings, it can be difficult to find time for every holiday activity imaginable. So in case you are still looking for some family friendly ideas to make your Christmas merry and bright, we've compiled a few that are super easy and also teach the real meaning of CHRISTmas!

The Story of Christmas printable can be used in so many ways to teach your children about the real story behind Christmas. It includes nativity figure cut-outs or you can use your own to help illustrate the story. Another printable resource for help in bringing more meaning to your holiday is the Christmas Talk Conversation Starters. For example: "Whose birthday are we celebrating?" or "What is your favorite Christmas tradition?" Share them with your children over a cup of hot chocolate, snuggled in blankets on a cool night. These are the memories our little ones will cherish most.

Share Christmas Love! There is joy in getting, but there is greater joy in giving. As much as I want my children to enjoy the thrill of opening their gifts on Christmas day, I also want them to experience the joy of sharing with others. I want them to understand that the greatest gift on Christmas was born out of love, and that they can share Christmas love too.

So when your children are out of school for Christmas break, maybe consider having a day to focus on giving. Here are some helpful ideas to get you started.

Merry Christmas Everyone! And Cheers to a Happy and Healthy New Year!
